Can't really rate this higher than a 3-3.5 honestly. It's good and I'd listen to a lot for drumming purposes (practice, whatever) but beyond that, it's just alright. Musicianship is good (more extreme than Hellfire) but kind of unnecessary, I think.

Honestly, beyond the earlier works, I thought Hellfire the song was more what they should chase after as far as sound/influence goes. Felt much deeper and this album just feels like it was a push to be liked again after the last album, not sure.

Well I just really like it for what it is and that's some really brutal black metal. Like I said it's nothing new and we've all heard it before, but it's still really good.

I dug Atomic Chapel. From what it sounds like and what others are saying, it won't be better than Hellfire, but I just want something cold and fast from the depths of the nordic mountains.

Ravn IS 1349, so is Frost. Love all their albums except Revelations..
