Starting my revisit/new jams of them and so far this album instrumentally is fantastic but the vocals I'm not into, Spencer sounds like he's trying to be barretto quite hard and failing to me. Parts here and there sound fine, gonna be interesting to hear how he sounds with melodies he writes himself later on

Light through Buttersnips has been good stuff. Lot of this album feels like vocals were just pasted on and not meant to be here which would make sense considering all of the bulb demos and shit
