These guys have had their moments, don't dock them that. I've always seen them as a bit unique when it comes to their serving of blackened metal. It was short, to the point, and packed with some pretty catchy melodies.
If you're basing your opinions of this band solely on the newer albums, you should probably check out Morning Crimson, it is the highlight of their career.
saying they were just a second-tier Dimmu Borgir with a ridiculous wolf gimmick on the covers.
And every band that had ever had its label even slightly associated with black metal gets compared to Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir some time or other, so, again, i wouldn't ground my opinions in just that review.

Hahhah! You bunch of homos are gathering up and talking about something you do know nothing. 'Cavalcade' is a perfect album with great melodies with great variety in it, but you all are just damn pathetic and annoyed by the fact it isn't your band! Already a Classic album, like their Location: Cold album!!! Glad that Catamenia keeps you a-holes on your toes that, we, fans of good music, can enjoy the music they create and laugh at the ridiculous comments you make :D Grow up people and have a good look on that mirror! Read on Blabbermouth today that this band has had a massive lineup change. They lost four of their five members, with only their guitarist remaining. He already found another guitarist, a drummer, and a bassist as replacements and they are going to announce a vocalist soon. I hope that means some changes in their sound!

And to think they came up with stuff as awesome as Chaos Born... I wouldn't say this album is completely terrible, it's pretty bad, yes, but listening to it without thinking of it as Catamenia it's at least 3 worthy. But since I know this is Catamenia, it makes it go down to a 2, it's just bad compared to everything else they've done.
