when has billy not been a bit weird/creepy in some way? i personally think most of you are too rough on this album. its yet another departure for corgan and i think there is some real honesty in this. i'd rather him do this than remake siamese dream or anything, ya know, sell out. thats what i love about billy. he stays true to himself even if a lot of people don't like and/or understand what he is doing. be a little more openminded.

i personally like walking shade and mina loy and some others. i agree that it can sound over produced and over synthy but maybe its because we are so used to hearing the pumpkins earlier sound. besides this is billy, not the pumpkins so we shouldnt be associating so so much.

Taken for what it is, TFE isn't all bad. This IS NOT the pumpkins, So it is obliviously missing the grandiose guitar anthems of the 90's. I like it, although it does make me a tad sleeeeepy...

Amazing record being Billy's third straight after classics like Machina and Zwan! This sounds like breakthrough Pumpkins especially the first three songs. The Camera Eye is brilliant and this cd is worth buying for that alone.

TFE is great.

Definitely reminds me of Adore era pumpkins. Mina Loy (M.O.H.), DIA, and A100 are the best tracks here. However, ToLoveSomebody has to be one of the most boring tracks....ever....

Good review though I disagree - I loved this album. I suppose I never expected it to live up to the Smashing Pumpkins.

Doesn't remind me of the Adore era at all, Adore era was great, this was poor and thats not even comparing it to The Smashing Pumpkins

Extremely poetic And has soul, but lacks the body of his band Smashing Pumpkins.

Giving how much of a Pumpkins completionist I am, it's insane that it's taken me this long to jam this...

But yeah, not very good so far. Mina Loy is a jam tho

"Pretty, Pretty Star" is easily the worst song he's ever written

A100 and DIA are really good, couple other good ones but mostly pretty weak
