When atrophy came on, this album really hit me.

Once thirteen came around, I cried like a baby.

Listened to this for the first time recently, pretty damn good but I didn't break down crying like I was expecting to after the hype

Demi does ANY music actually make you feel anything???!?!?!

This is one of the feelsiest albums going round for sure. If you don't feel something in the "DON'T

EVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU YOU DESERVE THAT" climax in wake then yeah that's pretty much confirmation

that your heart is made of stone.

i probably just havent given this enough time, few times i heard it were through crappy speakers in a distraction heavy setting. i gotta immerse myself into this some day i know theres something special here

Fair enough

I can relate strongly to the feelings and subject matter of this album yet it still didn't do much for me on the emotional side of things which I was surprised at

Maybe it needs some more listens as demi says

I haven't listened to this in well over a year. Just found it too depressing y'know?

Really expecting big things from this band though, if they can combine the atmospheric, dream poppy sound of their previous two releases with the stark emotional beauty of this record and follow the natural progression of a clearly talented group then they might be able to make something really special. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking, been too long since the last indie classic.

most people seem to revere this as an "indie classic". not sure if i'd agree at this point but the record has certainly left a big mark on the music community.

but i guess otherwise the last one (i think) would be Funeral or that Unicorns album, last ones a bit debatable though

Not sure if I'd agree either, although it comes mighty close. Really need to jam again, just can't be fucked having my day ruined by the inevitable depressed state I'll be left in post jamming.

Funeral for sure, although I can't say I'm familiar with that Unicorns album (?)

I'd go as far as to say that For Emma, Forever Ago would have solidified its place as a classic within the genre at this point.

Nah Demi sorry man I'm not far off shutting down the pc, reading a book and going to bed. Sorry man, maybe tomorrow.

My lil bro showed me a song from that Lydia album a couple of weeks back, it kinda ruled.
