Feels very Dark Bird-esque to me, at least in terms of his vocals and the style of the melody. I'm in the extreme minority that thinks that was his best album, so I'm very excited.

I might've heard it when it came out but I didn't rate it and I don't remember much about it. I'll have to revisit it. I think Dark Bird, There's No Leaving Now, and The Wild Hunt are a virtual tie for #1. I slightly gravitate towards Dark Bird for whatever reason but Matsson is very consistent. I wasn't a big fan of Fever Dream at first but even that grew on me pretty significantly. I'm not very well-versed in his pre-Wild Hunt material; just rated Shallow Grave today in fact. It was very good but just a cut below those top 3 I mentioned.
