nice review man, although i do take issue with the fact that there were no real hit songs on the album. Only Hope was covered by Mandy Moore for the movie A Walk To Remember, and the original was also in the movie. the song was extremely popular for a while. and Company Car is one of the most beloved songs Switchfoot has ever done. when i saw them earlier this year, those were the only 2 songs they played from any of their albums before TBL.

i agree with your conclusions though, pretty weak stuff mostly.

yeah i actually don't really like Company Car at all, i never did understand why it was such a big deal to some people.

Amy's song i think may have deserved a mention btw, i always thought it had a pretty good groove.
