Review Summary: And the monkeys came and ate all my strawberry ice cream. I shot them with a fork.

Once upon a time in a land unknown to those people we call "allmusic douchebags" there were two friends. Jim the Jackhammer and Frank the screwdriver. These friends would walk around the world and be happy. Until one day a living thing came, and caused havoc while Jim and Frank were out screwing and hammering everything in the forest. There was a battle royale, with a side of hollandaise sauce and then they all stopped and the living thing (known to most as a "Jimmy Urine") asked if....

So these guys found out what they were good at, they make sugary, angry, happy, synthy.... ok... well there really isn't a way to describe what the hell these guys do but god damnit they do it well. Thankfully, instead of listening to everyone and going back to the sound that "defined them" on "Frankenstein Girls May Seem Strangely Sexy" they actually kept doing the stuff that made them good on "You'll Rebel to Anything" and the two albums have more in common then just the concept! They are both melodic! And both start off with a ***-awesome track! "Never Wanted To Dance" may be repetitive, but, it sounds really good, and as the doctor said, it sounds like a candy version of Marilyn Manson.

You know what happens when you dip candy in battery acid?
It turns into acid candy!

Ok I have to admit that that was an awful joke, and I apologize for any hurt feelings, cause this is America, and in America if something doesn't make you all happy in the pants you have the option of not watching it while masturbating on the internet, and while it saddens me that people aren't watching the candy-acid-porn, I can accept it because I have some good news.

I didn't save money on my car insurance because I didn't switch to geiko!
And do you know why I didn't?
It's because that ***ing gecko keeps touching me inappropriatly. ***ing pervert gecko always trying to feel me up... Get it through your head you faux-british lizard, it's 3 A.M. I won't put out. Go make out with my friends or something.

So... Yeah... this album is full of the catchiest *** that you can find in your toilet. The song "Issues" for example, is better than the KoRn album....

And has funny lyrics that repeat over and over again in classic MSI-style, with really ***ing cool synths going all over the place, on the rug, on the couch, and the vocals are catchy rap-rock fusion stuff that actually sounds cool, and he slurs his voice for some reason, because that's what drunk people do, and we all know that the drunkards are the cool people. Just like Jimmy Jazz.... You know, the Clash song, it's an alcoholic.

Another song that grabs me like an inappropriate gecko is the track "Lights Out" it's a metal song bitches! The verses are punky and fast and the chorus is one big hooker, with the lyrics going all "Punch your lights out/hit the pavement/thats what I call entertainment" and "Causing problems makes you famous/All this violence makes a statement" the lyrics are almost deep! It's just like the kiddy pool, brings up something that might be a real issue but nobody is going to actually get caught up in it. And and and! "Prescription" is a pop song! A god damn pop song on a ***ing MSI album! What the ***??? These guys should keep doing that It makes me all happy all over the place!

This record isn't perfect, despite what you ***ers keep assuming based on my ravings, but it gets kinda samey halfway through the album. Now these songs are all very nice, but they kinda blend into each other, and this is one of those bands where their charm roots in the fact that their songs kinda change randomly and clash with each other making for a dynamic sound, and they start sounding like a typical freaky weird nu-metal band.

They were great when I saw them. Frankenstein Girls is pretty much their only awesome album.

I haven't heard this album so i'll give it the benefit of the doubt but what I have is the absolutely worst mockery of kiddy industrial rock i've ever come across

You're the dude who wrote that Dir en grey review back when aren't you?
You puzzle me so much, your reviews describe the music for about a half a sentence and then go into irrelevant 6th grade jokes. I just don't understand
