"this is gonna get many many more plays now that it's finally getting warmer."
Same here, first day this semester where I could walk to class in a t-shirt and shorts I immediately
chose this, it was an epic 20 min walk to class and 20 mins back to say the least.

20 min?! shit I guess that's a downside of going to PSU, especially in the winter... it's 5-8 tops here, and we have shuttles for when I'm lazy (always)

I like walking to class actually, I don't mind the long walks myself. Beautiful campus and tons of hot girls along the way... ;)

Haha, knew it. I had Eckersley as my avatar a while back. The A's have had some pretty stellar mustaches.

Man, I've been planning on re-writing my review for this one for awhile. But.....
Now I'm not so sure. You captured pretty much exactly how I feel about this album. In my clearest head, if someone could record my thoughts about this and transcribe it to real life emotion and experience, I'm not sure it would be much different than how you say it here. The only difference is I was 19 when I connected to this, so the songs had a meaning to me at the onset of adulthood vs childhood, which in and of itself is a huge struggle in duality.
Motorcycle Drive By is unquestionably my favorite song and always will be. Superb review.

IDK why I don't have this at a 4.5, must be the Jews.

There are so many "chill" moments on this record its ridiculous:
Motorcycle Drive By - Pretty much the whole song put in particular when the electrics come crashing in, and then when they suddenly subside back into acoustics at the end.
The BackGround: The last chorus, when he yells "And I felt you long after we were THROUGHHHHHHHHHHH, which of course you outlined in your summary.
The God of Wine: pretty much every time he sings "I can't keep it all together."
Narcolepsy: the part when it gets heavier and the "and theres a bomb in my hand that connects to a drink" line starts.

wonderful review of a wonderful album. This one's as sentimental to me as anything in my collection. There is not a single dull moment for the entire duration -- a bonafide classic.
