Also the way Cipater ends quietly and distant but almost childlike in sound after building up with a lot of melody and beauty gives me very similar vibes to Boards of Canada

it's like lp5 except more subtle which makes it harder for people to grasp i think

idk this is way more noisy and static-y than LP5, which has more of a metallic sheen to it
this whole album sounds like its sampled even though it probably isnt. it just adds to that sort of DIY hiphop aesthetic that i think is so essential to this release.

Sounds way too similar not to be a rework. The more I listen to this album the more I like it, melodies sound so honest on this one.

yeah i used to not really dig this too much but the more i listen to it the more im starting to enjoy it, possibly more than the two that surround it
its just got this gritty, crunchy feedback sound that theyve only really expanded upon recently with tracks like cloudline off exai
i remembering reading in an interview that sean considers this his favorite album theyve done
