old In Flames sounds like race car death metal to me, and I don't know why.

This is such a ood album though, I love the tracks Stabbing The Drama, Weapon Of Vanity, The Crestfallen, and Distance.

This album is average. Old Soilwork is better.

upon further review, this album is terrible, but it wont let me rate any lower, and pretty much all soilwork is bad. This Message Edited On 03.09.06

Pretty good review. I think One With the Flies is the best song on the album.

The first three IMO are all equally the best sonsg on the album, and Distance as well.

I thought that this band was more extreme, enjoyed it actually.

Got addicated to this album when it first came out. Speed is a grand vocalist, even so that he got endorsed by Rob Halford. Good album.

Personally, I think A Predator's Portrait >>>> This Album, but it still good nonetheless. Nice review. You really seem to like pointing out the solos too :p.

Stabbing the Drama was a total let down. But none of there songs sounded the same like other bands out there, so that was a good thing.........After hearing it (sure there were some really great songs) i felt like lighting my hair on fire. I guess i was too "hype" to hear it...now on when it comes to soilwork i need to lower my sandards.

Bring on the new one (which Stridd is apparently recording vocals with Devin Townsend again).

Great band

Im a huge soilwork fan and i have never heard a soilwork song that i didnt like, untill i bought this album. Blind Eye Halo is the worst song they ever wrote IMO. There are a few other small moments on the album that i dont care for making this my least favorite by them. Their upcoming album should be real interesting.
