"Does she keep up that awful mockney voice all the way through?" Unfortunately for you Nick, she does for the most part. It works better on some tracks than others though. Remember that those advertising snippets are likely to be of the first 2 singles, neither of which are highlights imo.

Thanks Ali. I'll admit I also had this as a 3 on first listen since not enough jumped out at me... But a few songs grew on me on subsequent listens.



Definitely worth a listen Rudy. Unsure how much you'll like it, but there's a good chance you will to some extent.

Good on ya Trey... The last time I (fleetingly) listened to a radio (for music) was last century. 2007 or 2008 from memory.

Songs weren't really my thing. She has an interesting voice and all, but the songs just didn't hold my attention. If you've got a thing for female vocals and slightly more 'clubby' than this you should check out Late Night Alumni Skippy, could be your thing

No Jools at all here in the US - but we do have YouTube. Usually have to wait half a year for this kind of stuff to finally get released; end up paying twice the price for an import (I also buy hard copies).

She seems to be this year's Little Boots. Was excited for the full length, but didn't quite live up to expectation. Curious to see if that's how I'll feel about this.

RobotFrank, it always amazes me that with your 500 channels over there in the States, one of them doesn't have such a show. A couple of channels here play 'Later With Jools', one more updated than the other.



As for being this year's Little Boots, a case can definitely be made for that. There's something a bit more different/ambitious about Goulding though.
