this is ok, i like the idea of thrash with some death in it, but i didn't find this particular take on it hugely interesting

it's one of those albums that are pure metal, but have enough variation and melody to keep me interesting, Dismantle the Dictator and Leviathan are the shit

Yeah this still slays. Can't wait to see these dudes in October. I've seen 'em before a few times, but this will be the first where they're actually the headliner. Gonna be sick.

One of the best for sure. Personally I like Deathless better, but both slay.

Deathless is objectively their best, but I'm still most fond of the energy & freshness on this. Hard to believe they were a 3-piece back then.

Agreed, I was definitely shocked when I realized they were a 3 piece at the time. And this is a killer album for sure, some of my fav Revo songs on this one. If I had to rank, it would be something like this:
Deathless> This> Teratogenesis=s/t> Chaos of Forms=The Outer Ones> Great is Our Sin> Empire of the Obscene.
I know some people seem to hate on their s/t but idc, I think it's one of their best.

Not sure which one I like better at the minute, both have definite growing potential. Some of these riffs are super-catchy.
