I almost feel sometimes that 90% of the users on this site have no idea what nu-metal is and refer to the genre as a bunch of Linkin Parks which is pretty terrible.

Basically, Nu-Metal is heavier than Hard Rock (usually) and softer than Metal. It incorporates various genres into metal (rap, funk, industrial, reggae, latin, etc).

Honestly, all I've heard from these guys is The Kill and one of the new singles, I kinda thought they were post-hardcore, but I may be way off on that.
