Belus' Død should be the starter track, not that stupid 'Leukes Renkespill (Introduksjon)'...

nice bump garas, i have to check this again soon. belus, fallen, and umskiptar are all jumbled together in my head

Umskiptar was pretty lame for me. Fallen is pretty good, but this one is the closest to me from the post-prison albums.
Especially 'Belus' Død', after listening that Uruk-Hai/Burzum demo, where Varg first played that riff. I just love that track.

After watching lords of chaos, discovering Thulean Perspective and revisiting super old videos of Varg, this will be my next step in discovering the less "obvious" burzum albums

Fairly familiar with first 6 albums (espacially 2nd, 3rd and 4th lp) but I was just kinda somewhere else when he came back. Will re-jam after jamming this soon

this is actually up there with his best work, imo. its no wonder considering a lot of this was old stuff he wrote from back in the day.

listening to it yesterday there was one track that had some element which really threw me off. think it was "svardanse" or something, not certain. goofy track. rest was... as you said, pretty nearly up to the quality of filosofem, maybe even surpassing in some ways the s/t

Kaimadalthas' Nedstigning m/
Varg had a lot more groove in his riffs than your average bm muscican. Guy knows his accents.
