Every track is just gorgeous.

Unfortunately I do see where thebhoy is coming from, some of the songs do have a radio-rock vibe. You know how at the end of every drama like "Bones" or "Grey's Anatomy" they have that calm, melancholy acoustic song? This fits in that category almost perfectly, so I can understand how some would see this as "generic".



I might write a review for this, I'll see how it goes. Currently I think a soundoff would be better, but I dunno.

...oh and i also like to keep in mind that the whole thing is live. The acoustics and the overall sound are breathtaking.

That part really interests me, apart from the applause and the small "thank you" Weddle says at some point there is nothing to indicate it's a live album. Everything is crystal clear, everything can be heard as clearly as is needed, and there are very few mistakes. It's something I really like about it, that this can be treated as their debut album.

oh wow. i assumed by the title and all the identical-sounding youtube videos of them that this was played live (even if in an intimate, enclosed area, such as those aol sessions and stuff). i wasn't sure though, so i didn't say anything about it in my review.
