this one reminds me of the self-titled a little bit in overall vibe or mood/feel. Musically it's probably closer to Demon Days because of all the electronic influence, but it's not nearly as dark. I'd say Demon Days is still their best, with this being about on par with self-titled for me. This one's more consistent, but there's nothing as good as Tomorrow Comes Today, Clint Eastwood or Sound Check on this album, that's for sure.

I'd put Empire Ants ahead of Tomorrow Comes Today or Soundcheck

I agree that Empire Ants is the best song on the disc (at least in the 2-3 full listens I've given this); but I'm not quite ready to put it on that level yet. Perhaps after a couple more listens.

oh, and am I to assume you're Poop in disguise?

gosh.... I want to be happy about it but.... fml

such a downer....

but then again, I hated stylo when I first heard it, then it was on repeat for days on end

But I listened though the album, and I found it impossible to listen to the dreary songs all the way

through...

but, it is the Gorillaz, and I will come to like it in time.

SUPERFAST JELLYFISH!!
