Heard a song from this on Triple J this morning, kinda just pissed me off because at first it sounded exactly like Bloc Party, then he comes in singing exactly like Ben Gibbard and then the bridge sounds exactly like Dance Gavin Dance. The similarities aren't even subtle.

Like I say in the concluding paragraph Tom, there is a long list of derivation here, so if you focus in with a microphone, it may get annoying. But for what it's worth, I still think this is really fun & catchy. I had another listen with the volume turned right up the other night & I'm happy with my rating.

Gotta be honest, I didn't read the review. And I didn't focus at all, when the song started I literally thought it was Bloc Party, then wandered if it was a new Death Cab song before I realised it was just a few arseholes who can't make their own sound.

They gotta have super strong choruses as well as super strong main riffs. Only then, will they be keepers.
