Seriously though I really don't understand why so many people have a problem with this. To my ears every track (with the possible exception of New York) stands out in its own right, and the record as a whole hasn't dated in the slightest and still floors me every time.
I know a lot of people don't like their image and all but for me this is one of the most undeniably brilliant albums ever. Maybe it's cultural differences between the UK and wherever you're from, but the hate that this record gets still baffles me.
