I listen to regular punk for different things than hardcore punk. It's kinda like coming to a NWOBHM album and saying it's worse than a black, death, or thrash album. This was defining record in its era for a reason. There are some truly classic tracks here.

Ramones are great and clearly had an influence on everything that followed but that’s just it.

The Ramones themselves wanted to change the structure of what Rock n Roll was and were born of it’s style and structure.



The Pistols wanted to change everything and used ‘music’ as a tool with which to bring about that change.



It simply doesn’t happen anymore.

Sid n Nancy was an above average movie
