Wasn't a very good review, but some of it is true

They do use more breakdowns than needed, but that doesn't mean they are a trashy band.

Elysium was a beautifully written song and shows that the band is fairly talented. Cheyne Stokes, The Human Condition and Recreant are also good songs.

His vocals hurt my ears because they were so high pitched.... needless to say it was worth spending two dollars for a wrist band so i could leave the venue

a lot of hate towards this band. i like them, they put on a good show and the breakdowns are sick live, lots of energy and all that jazz.

I actually like the production it just falls completely flat because the song are all horribley written and boring

Ok here's the thing about Chelsea Grin. They're not trying to go with overly technical riffs and sweeping solos. All they want to do is make heavy music with breakdowns. People take this band wayyyy too seriously and don't realize what their goal is musically.

Sonnet of the Wretched is definitely their best song. Also, they have a new song up called 'My Damnation.' His vocals in their new song is nowhere near as good as they are on this album. Hopefully that's the only song that's going to be like that.

I honestly thing this album deserves more. Everyone loves breakdowns! Atleast I do. These guys are so fun to watch live to. By the way, if you wanna love these guys. The first song you ever listen to from this band is either Desolation of eden. Of Recreate. When you listen to Recreate. Listen to when he says" DAYUM" Then a heavy break down happens. It's amazing.
