how is it not? its got good vocals, plenty of junz and chugging riffs, like it or not thats what most deathcore is. its pretty solid for a first release.

I like deathcore, I just don't like this album. There's not much variation in the songs, the
breakdowns and chugs and everything all sound too similar. I don't know man I just think they're
really generic

Downloaded this album last april couldnt get into it for a bit but then it really grew on me now i cant stop listening to it could be a little less breakdown oriented but thats deathcore for you and some of the songs are very well written which is very nice

^^None of the songs are 'very well written'.
They are all composed of generic riffs and an utterly sickening amount of breakdowns.

This band is bad, i suppose they have the "brutal" factor but who doesn't these days.

This album is like a sugar cube. All sweet, it almost rots your brain when you listen to it. It has absolutely NO depth, but it's just so fun to listen to. The epitome of lame deathcore, you have to love it if just in a completely parodical way.

Huh, I just saw 'em with The Acacia Strain and Veil of Maya and I hated the vocals. I've only listened to one other song on youtube and disliked that, as well.

They're definitely different, I'll give him that. I'm just not a fan of most highs in general. I would imagine iwabo would be horrible.

Whitechapel headlined at the Chelsea Grin/TAS/VoM show, but I left before they played. I saw them on Warped Tour this past summer and I don't remember being impressed.
