Im slowly liking this more than his debut. Soon It Will Be Cold Enough has some choice songs but this is a solid album.

One of my favorite albums from this year. A little long, and somewhat repetitive, but very cohesive; and, most importantly, beautiful.

I can't believe I missed this album. I was really into his first one.

Nice review, I liked what you said about climactic power.
I absolutely adore Soon It Will Be Cold Enough To Build Fires, so I will definitely check this out.
Also, just curious but how is this trip hop? I mean, trip hop is definitely one of those genres that is not black and white, but when I hear trip hop I think Massive Attack, Portishead, DJ Shadow.

Soon it Will be Cold Enough is one of my favourite trip-hop albums. I'll have to get hold of this one soon, glad to hear it lives up to the previous one.

Also, if anyone wants similar stuff, I suggest Artifacts by Aether.

Just realized I completely had the tracklist jumbled. That being said, I had to delete Black Lake. Couldn't stand that track for some reason. I love the rest though. Old Devil rules.
