"Also, the abundance of ‘starving’ references quickly where’s thin"

Should be "wears thin"

Sorry I can't help myself

I don't know why everybody was so cynical about We are the Nightmare. The musicianship is much better than anything on the previous two albums (which may I note are almost unlistenable due to the production quality), and in my opinion better than this one as well. As the reviewer said, it seems as if they've sold out.

It's still a fun, high energy album to listen to, regardless. I would have just preferred something more.....innovative.

To all the 4's, just a question : What aspect of this made it "Excellent"? I mean the technicality and decently high-end instrumentation that they've always had is there, though not quite in full swing, but I just don't see anything on this record that makes it a stand out, in the slightest. Only listened twice through, so maybe I'm missing something, but still curious as of now.

Saw this on the limited 1000 pc. red vinyl at the store today, almost picked it up but then I remembered how much I dislike this.

Unlike their first two albums, this album, along with the album before it conveys no strong emotions. It sounds like heavy metal blues circus with guitar wankery.

I actually really like most of the riffs on this, but I can see it wearing off me very soon.

And really, the lyrics are so bad that they have to use previous album titles as lines.

Did it ever occur to anyone the lyrics might be meant to be humorous? I mean, you might still dislike them or call them bad... But, uh, I was under the impression they were SUPPOSED to be silly.

Or maybe you know that. I just had to ask. Still listening to this album. Will have full opinion/rating later.
