Never really saw the point in keeping him when they switched to their darker side. I understand the fact that he would've been there to keep the energy and the fans up, but 2 mc's and the music as well is easily enough without having a dancer as well
|
| |
I remember that it was a big deal that he was in the band, because he was one of only two bands that had a full member of the band that only danced - the other being Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
|
| |
I think when they started out there were three dancers: Leeroy, Keith & Sharkey. Keeping Sharkey would've been a smart move, I could watch female dancers all day long
|
| |
Hell yeah... although looking at pictures right now - she looks kind of scary ;)
|
| |
Oh really? I haven't seen her since The Voodoo People remix video, looked better than Leeroy
|
| |
The Prodigy? More like the Sodomy.
EDIT: also damn, I would've thoroughly supported that law to ban raves, raves are lame as all hell.

Now this is a good review right here, very nice.
PS. Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) way better than original.
|
| |
Great review. I did get this expanded remaster a while back, I remember it sounding different enough from the original pressing to be a bother to me though (I dislike seeking remasters as a general rule though).
This is a fairly consistent album, i've listened to it hundreds of times and it has never really lost it's appeal for me.
Ha ha, Meatplow just has to deal with it because it is the broad categorization for all the electronic-based music, whether he likes it or not ;)

Silly Bloc
|
| |
I do not care for Pendulum
|
| |
They've got some good moments, I for one will be checking out their new album
|
| |
I really want them to return to a sound that's more like this and/or Fat of the Land. The last few have been kind of bad (haven't heard the new one, though... I've given up).
|
| |
Invaders Must Die was actually an attempt to bring back the hardcore electronic sound of the first two releases, with some Fat of the Land style moments.
I liked that and Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned (which is quite different) but I really think that type of music is too stuck in the 90's though to be of much value nowadays. You should check it out, I don't think you would outright hate it at the very least.

It's certainly out of no dislike, I just haven't really heard them. That remix was alright, though.
|
| |
Well their last album borrowed heavily from the Prodigy style, adding a rock vibe to their 'dance' sound. Their new one could be interesting, if they decide to keep their word
|
| |
Poison's in my top 3 favourite Prodigy songs.
|
| |
Poison is awesome.
