This keeps me interested without drawing too much attention toward the vocals or wankery which is what makes this succeed.

I was on the 4th track and for some reason Converge told me to put Jane Doe back on so I did.

This and the debut are just behind the demos as their best material.

I always thought the debut was overrated, never could really get into it too well. I mean it's decent, it shows potential for this, but its disorganized, a bit too chaotic for the poppy influence in this band.

Yeah, but... Mastadon!

I just dig the low production values. It makes a nice change to the squeaky clean, slightly overproduced sound on this record.

it is quite raw compared to this, but i guess i really enjoy that squeaky clean sound.

the s/t was better than this IMO, but this is a really close second. i miss when this band was the coolest shit ever. the screaming vocals on the s/t were just amazing. itue almost made me cry.
