just re-read it. while you do describe some songs well, and do give data about the album, you point out a hell of a load of negatives for a 4.5. what, all those "pointless songs" are keeping you from a 5!?!?!

review reads like a 3.0/3.5, so the rating is wrong. maybe if you HAD given it a 3.5, people would have liked it better.

dude, don't throw My Chemical Romance under the bus bc of their image, their albums are a lot better than those other bands... aren't you completing a kiss discography? These guys are pretty much a young, german version of kiss that doesnt know how to play their instruments...

i KNOW MCR are better (love The Black Parade), but they're still a huge tweenie sensation.

and these guys make KISS look like Deep Purple. and KISS didn't know how to play their instruments either, apart from Ace Frehley and, later, Bruce Kulick and the two Erics. Gene Simmons is disastrous, though.

i was going to make a point in a completely frivolous soundoff that i wrote a few hours ago that perhaps these guys are a more favorable alternative to the jonas brothers, until i wikipedia'd their album and saw that they dont write ANYTHING on their own...

may I suggest, say, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven? all these bands are better than this....I am reticent to call it...'band'.

well, it IS an upgrade. plus LP are a great bridge to heavier stuff.

you have to take it gently with beginners. steer them away from the crap, but not straight into the undecipherable (for them) white noise.

well i was thinking of my younger sister, who is 18 now. i originally fed her some Linkin, plus a couple of radio-rock bands. it worked. she now listens to 60's folk rock, bossa nova and so forth. so yeah.
