I'll be honest. Funny stuff. It took like a year for this album to click with me. 10 listens over a year span to click. His vocals are so guttural here and I still prefer his vocal style after. And i still prefer pierced from within and souls to deny but it sits at my 3rd favorite suffo. Had it last place for the longest.

That just goes to show how how much everyone differs when it comes to bands discographys. Thats the beauty of it. Pierced is easily their best on all accounts ot my ears. Including frank easily for me. But I can see ppl liking his vocals here more to. This is great but its not pierced. But yeah Dave souls to deny is great. Love that record. It gets it's due here has alot of fans but there's also alot of ppl that 2.5/3 it. Who knows..........

Dave you might no the website ultimate metal. Where they poll bands discogs. Basically tons of metal fans will give their ranking of the bands discog and all the lists gets tallied together to make a final list best to worst basically. They did one on suffo. Souls got 3rd place under pierced and this. But then you come on here and it's got a 3 5 average. Still a good score. But Truly a bit underrated here. Idk I dont get it. And it's got like 5 comment pages on top of that. But I guess that's what happens when they make albums as great as this and pierced the rest of their discog gets a bit underappreciated

i think pierced is definitely a little better than this one just cus the production is clearer and heavier. the songs are pretty similar standard though and both are amazing

and yeh inveracity is decent. should clarify that even though a lot of bdm feels like a somewhat less characterful interpretation of suffo there's still a lot of good stuff
