Solid album. Not quite as great as I thought it would be, but still very solid.

You know, I honestly think Niege is just that off in fairytale land sometimes that the shoegaze aspect and vocals don't bother me. I just assume while listening that this is his "magical little place" he goes into when recording and somehow it seems genuine as a result. I mean hell, he re-recorded Le Secret basically because people thought it was actually black metal. lol. That said, I still prefer Amesoeurs to Alcest. But unfortunately they are no more.

I enjoyed this album, it's very calming.

Yes, the Black Metal feel is there, but you can't really call it Black Metal.

So new album is great, I'm enjoying it more than this. I like how the new album has black metal vocals, I find the one-dimensional singing here tiring.
