Dude I think Marr is fantastic on this, it has easily their best production and all the instruments just sound so lush and beautiful. Morrissey's lyrics are uninspired, sure, but his vocals are at their high point

To be fair there's a couple of songs I don't remember at all and a few shit ones like Unhappy Birthday. But every Smiths record has at least one jam I hate to be honest
