Started listening to this now and Stand Up (lets Get Murdered) just ruled my face.

yea dude, love that song.
P.O.S. played the guitar at the end of that song too (as well as all the guitar, bass and keys on the album).

Oh man the Craig Finn track is slaying me. A Carl Weathers reference, haunting atmosphere, and what sounds like a sitar. Win.

you can't go wrong with any P.O.S. record, they're all fantastic (and the Doomtree ones too).
I got my Nikon, let's get our knife on, and catch a couple snapshots of a bad move...

hah, I've only walked out of one single movie, it was an action adventure, it was a blood-sucking summer. the posters in the lobby of the theatre called it Predator, I call it weak and unwatchable. Carl Weathers and two future governors, you know it's really unacceptable. We gotta stop falling for the double-speakers from the double-features... we gotta keep em in the theatres...

This was a great cap to the work day. about 5-6 stone cold hip hop classics on this. Faves were – Stand Up, Paul Kersey to Jack Kimball, Safety in Speed, the Kill in Me, P.O.S is Ruining my Life, Bleeding Hearts Club.
On my acquire list.

definitely man, those are some of my favs too. Bleeding Hearts Club is awesome man, love the story in that song (although it's a bit depressing...). Teddy Bear and a Tazer is one of my faves as well, but there's not a single song on this record that I don't just love.

yeah I like this a good bit more than Never Better, mainly because I think it's superiour lyrically. Never Better has really interesting production but I feel like the beats on this are more consistently good (if not quite as original maybe, but maybe not) even if it's a bit more lo-fi.

What is said story in Bleeding Hearts Club? I really like the song but I haven't really been able to decipher the lyrics

it's P.O.S. and Slug from Atmosphere talking about their separate relationships with a heroin addict.
It's been a bit; you look a little sick, you got the vibe of a ghost and I'm not equipped
Tonight, must have been a beast, I bet you still rock a sweater in the heat, right? And you can stand like it's not that bad but I only hear from you when it is, and you know that
And I can't catch a wink 'til you stop, 'til you think, 'til you're clean, 'til you quit, 'til you're done, this is it; I'm at the end of my rope, you're at the end of your wick
at least that's my interpretation on it.
