A lot of people don't like music that's psychedelia to the bone like this (its production, its structure, everything), they'd rather listen to a boring suburban indie pop song that has one "psych" gimmick tacked onto it

Well... yeah, mate. I showed Animal Collective to a friend today and he didn't enjoy it a single bit,
he's more into classic rock like Zeppelin and Floyd, or blues/jam rock, like Stevie Wonder and Dave
Matthews Band, respectively. I just said that stuff like Animal Collective is an acquired taste, it's
definately not for everybody, really experimental and psychedelic music. But music like the latter is
definately my thing.
