yeah it so easy to get turned to opeth, you can feel the emotions in their songs and puts them so much further ahead then most of the other bands in the genre....

i like that they've changed their sound somewhat, but this album just gets a little dull after awhile. it doesn't have the same punch as the others, especially since Akerfeldt doesn't growl as much.

This has grown on me a little more.

I love the unison riffing between the guitars and keyboard on the songs. His voice is weak compared to their other stuff, I think.

I've heard so many great things about Opeth, but haven't heard the music. After reading this review, I think this CD is where I will start into Opeth with.

Weak voice? I thought this was by far his strongest.

By that I meant his growling. It's flat.

Personally, This is my favorite album from Opeth. I agree with SF that his voice was strongest on this album.

I'm an Opeth fan, and I was surprised with this album; primarily because I was expecting the worst. I was worried about how they would use the keyboard in their heavier stuff, but they turned out to be a nice addition. Great album, overall.

This album is great but I don't think it's the next Opeth album I'll get high off of.

Get Still Life. Much better than this, IMO.
