Closer to the Edge and This is War are easily the best tracks on the album. Vox Popili kinda overuses the Summit, but now that i listened to it again, i sang along.

I thought this album was supposed to have like 2,000 different covers of unattractive 30STM fans.

Closer to the Edge has single written all over it. I am loving this album. I like overblown and pretentious.

Given their success/popularity there's bound to be at least a dozen hot girls in there.

Album is epic, pretentious, and possibly better for it. The electronics are back, which is good. This might go down to a three but Kings and Queens and the title track rule.

I agree; if they decide to continue down the same road next time around, I bet the band can fine tune the inconsistencies here and create something really great.

well i hope they also include the dark brooding atmosphere of the first album (like in Buddha for Mary)on the next album

That's a good point. Some darker emotions would be welcome. Buddha For Mary was a great track.

They will certainly get far with this release. I just hope they don't become too ambitious. I think what they've done here should be the limit for now; they just have to fine tune it next time around.

At least admit that you jumped out of your seat during that nice little vocal part in Night of the Hunter

The summit inclusion at the end or the woman's voice at the beginning?

It's a great song.

I was going more along the lines of rise.....riseeee....RIIIIIIIIISEEEE

But the others are pretty sweet too.

Oh I see. No, that part didn't get me too much.

I liked the beginning of the title track a lot. Kanye's inclusion on Hurricane wasn't nearly as bad a I feared it would be either.
