whatwhatWHAAAAAAAT?

well, well, guess i might have to listen to this one!

also, nothing against females rocking out - as long as they ROCK OUT rock out, and not "pretend-to-rock-while-posturing-for-the-camera-hiring-hitmakers-and-studio-musicians-to-write-and-play-their-songs-although-they-pretend-to-play-guitar-on-the-live-concerts-but-in-fact-it's-all-prerecorded" rock out.

Hang on, your dig just changed. I was to Alice Cooper.

Well, you have no problem here about the guitar playing. She can make many a male guitarist look a little silly.

Totally agree with the above comment. She is still young & (hopefully) with some maturity can learn to use her guitar skills better in the future.

Just going by your user-name, what did you think of the instrumental duet with Steve Vai?

i know. except I had that dig for a looong time and was too lazy to change it.

Agreed. The funny thing was that (as always) I tried not to read reviews of this album before listening to it. So when I got to that track, I thought "how fn good is her playing on this... It's like she's doing the work of 2 people". LOL.

This came on a radio at work and I said to my black co-worker, "man, this girl can shred, huh?"

She said "What?"

I said "Shred, this girl"

She said "Shred?"

I said "Play...guitar...soundly..."

I'm surprised your co-worker didn't go looking for a paper shredder.

Puddles, that's not so bad. my cousin is 33 and he doesn't know what "riff" means.

Haha. I hope you gave them a false definition... At least for a little while.

Her voice is like femalepopsinger.jpg but it's quite refreshing to see a modern pop artist that can actually play the guitar well.

True... Nowadays, I just think it's a positive that her voice is not excruciatingly bad & she hasn't gone all Britney/Mariah auto-tune.

it's instrumental, so i dunno how the mainstream crowd would handle it but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, if they only knew what they were missing.

Yeah, that's what makes me think otherwise... Especially after the poppiness of 'According To You'. Maybe it's some kind of promo.
