It's definitely the most blatantly commercial rocker here for sure. Honestly, my favorites here are the really doomy cuts; songs like Limo Wreck and 4th of July just hit so damn hard

4th of July is probably my favourite song ever tbh. Or it would be if The Day I Tried to Live didn't exist.

Also, the fact that this is rated higher than Nevermind AND In Utero on here is extremely based. Part of why I prefer this to rym.

Ars - good picks too, just a legendary year

1968 is no doubt a good year but I’d need to listen to at least another two hundred albums from that year for it to compete with ‘94 currently

god damn man you were right about hip hop

I never realized Illmatic, 6 Feet Deep, and Ready to Die dropped in the same year. Insane year for east coast hip hop, and I think I literally have all of those rated as 5’s lmao.

Yeah ‘94 is tough to beat

@Doof: Let me look through your ratings to give you a '68 rec, so I can pick something you haven't heard... damn you've heard most of my 1968 5s and 4.5s, but not this one:

Caetano Veloso - Caetano Veloso (1968 album, the dude has 3 self-titles in a row lol)
