"hot take: but these guys were the closest thing the 90s came to Zeppelin"
That's actually what initially turned me off these guys, especially Cornell's similarities to Robert Plant. But eventually I got past that and ended up loving their work (waaaaaaaaaay more than Zep, I should add)

Best frontman ever maybe besides Luc, RIP

just a reminder that Chris Cornell developed his prose from Andrew Wood when they lived together. True story. I love Chris he was a great guy, hot as hell too, but Andrew taught him quite a bit. RIP both Landrew and Chris. Pioneers of Grunge. (Landrew was Woods' stage name, Mother Love Bone basically started the Grunge movement)

I actually haven't i dont think. Pretty sure I've heard a few of their songs tho, the ex wife is a huge grunge fan so I was unwillingly subjected to non-cornell/staley grunge for a number of years

evil you do realize when Andrew passed away the guitarist and drummer went on to form Pearl Jam? As much as I hate to say it, but MLB would have done more with their career with Andrew, not just one memorable album, but a plethora of albums. Check Malfunkshun too, when Andrew was Landrew and dressed up like a girl with face paint like KISS and doing novelty material. Okay I'll shut up now I just always wish that he never passed away and I always imagine what grunge would have been with him in the scene. The song Far Behind by Candlebox is about Andrew. A real event that happened between him and the lead singer, I can't remember his name atm. But yeah. I'm baked sorry.
