What?! But Clint has the voice of an angel! xD I guess we'll have to just disagree.

I personally think Imago isn't TBE's best album. I liked their EP and Begins Here more. Both bands are amazingly awesome imo though. TBE I've seen about 12 times live. Their best live performance was at the last Overcranked when they added in their rendition of Message In A Bottle midway through song and everyone sang along.

The song is decent, nothing extraordinary. I personally prefer Drug Of Choice and 11am more.

I know the TBE concert I went to got filmed, so I'm presuming they're putting out a Live DVD sometime soon.

When it comes to Division, I love Drug Of Choice, Proud Of You and Actions & Motives.

TBE kills 10 years. Although i'm a little biased because it was TBE that actually got me into decent music. In A Memory is one of my favourite TBE songs also, along with Aisles of White and Signs. But sorry guys, Imago wins for me, mainly because its one of my favourite albums ever..

There are a couple of good songs on this though, Wasteland is decent, as is the closer. I dunno, i should be loving this but i don't...

Try out KATHY maybe Billy. It has the same similar sound overall to TBE's EP.

I'm realizing that the preference here is basically coming down to what people heard first. Both bands are damn good, I just like this one better because I have an old emotional connection to it :/

Idk, for some reason, Division just never clicked for me. I love So Long, Goodbye, and Beautiful's pretty good, but the rest just didn't stick with me, whereas this whole CD (minus Cast It Out) did. Anyone else notice that, or is that just me?

i had gotten TAE and Division around the same time (decided to finally try to get into em, and i did, pretty hard, in fact.), so to me, division is just TAE, Part Two.

i really like some songs on here a little better, but overall their last two releases are very cohesive to each other, and i tend to enjoy them collectively for this reason.

Honestly I like both bands the same. Of course I have more patriotism to TBE because they're from here and I've seen them live so many times and they've always been awesome.

Dude I would love to see them live, just to see how that guitarist pulls it off (it SUCKS being the only guitarist in a band, instaprops to anyone who can pull that off and retain a certain level of skill). That said, even if they do come to America, i bet they're going to skip the frozen wasteland that I call home (MN) :P

I got TAE by random chance right after it came out, listened to it nonstop for like three weeks, and consistently since then. When I heard Division, idk... it just felt different, like they were trying too hard to branch out almost. Both very good CDs though, I still really enjoy it, it just hasn't clicked like this one

These guys were a surprise back in the day when I went out to see KoRn, Disturbed and Hatebreed play (yeah yeah, stfu). Well these guys were the surpise guests who opened. They clearly made every other band after them look like shit. This was back when Jesse had dreads that basically touched his heels and this cd was fresh. Such a great day that was, me and my friends all went to the store the next day (a Saturday) and we fought for the only copy there.

Well, one of my friends ended up just grabbing it and saying "haha mine fuckers" and he bought it. We then went back to his house, pumped it up and played cricket and drank beer (like a typical aussie) while going FUCK I REMEMBER THIS SONG!

I actually heard these guys first. I think I heard Wasteland on the Breaking Benjamin forum's radiostream, and I chanced at seeing the album at the store, got in on impulse and fell in love.

YESSS THE DREADS haha i'd forgotten about those.

I remember stumbling across the demos for Wasteland and Through The Iris on Garageband.com and being super impressed so I bought this CD just because it would have rerecorded versions. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised

i was pleasantly surprised when he cut his dreads. but was also happy that Jesse was no longer compared to the guy from shadows fall.

I’d been debating back & forth with myself whether this is a 3.5 or a 4, but have decided to be nice. ‘The Autumn Effect’ is another step up for 10 Years, since they have nicely infused a greater melodic approach without watering down their heavier, emotional moodiness… It ultimately is a very effective compromise, even if many songs take a few listens to truly sink in.

While it may not initially seem so due to over-length, I do think there is also greater variety here than on their previous releases… But I’m unsure why they didn’t cut 1 or 2 of the tracks. Listeners may also feel a little short-changed that 2 of the highlights appeared on their previous LP ‘Killing All That Holds You’. Recommended Tracks: Wasteland, Prey, Through the Iris & Cast It Out.

"Half Life" is a wonderful track, I don't know what the album would be like if it wasn't placed in the center of the album.
