Same thoughts here. It's fair enough, but the replay value seems to be painfully absent.

that's the vibe i'm getting too, when I randomly pop a song on it always sounds awesome, but that's where my jam session usually ends

yeah they keep going and going with a riff. i mean the end of the first track could have been like a minute shorter

exactly, i think it's also the fact that it is just the same riff constantly repeated that makes it drag

yeah they don't add anything to it. which is sad because that riff is sooooo good.



it's pretty bare-bonesed. its just riff, drum fills, end. repeat.



there's nothing to go back to. you only need to listen to it once or twice to get the full value of it

i always liked Homme's voice and guitar skills, but i'd definitely prefer some older QOTSA to this.
