Well, if on a scale of 1-5 as to how good it was, I rated it a 3... Then I guess the answer to your question is 2.

Taking it that far, it's just you. Don't get me wrong, I espcially like 'Birmingham' & would have it as better than half the tracks here. But saying it or 'July' is "better than anything on the album" is taking it to the extreme.

Aaron himself compared his first record with Dave Grohl. While i agree it's not a good comparison, I can see why you would bring up the comparison in a review for that fact alone.
