Never Let Go is different on A Live Record but at least equal I'd say.
It's also the song my friends dig the most.
Was a great success for me when I got them into Pink Floyd, Camel and Porcupine Tree and they stopped listening to german HipHop alle the time.

Wow, that was a incredibly good review, one of the better ones I've read. I like your point about the concise tracks and the idea that "Throughout the record, the moods change very often and still retain the same overall ambiAnce" - very astute.
It took me a few listens to get into this album (partially because of the lack of lyrics), but once I did - holy shit. The musical choices are so exact and near perfection; it makes the whole album both peaceful and exciting to listen to.
(And I agree with Jethro, I just downloaded the live album, and its kinda mediocre compared to the recorded - especially 'Never Let Go')
