Desert of Song would be a killer single, no doubt about it.

I saw them live and have to say, they were really boring.

Tell me L.D. 50 is a bad album and i'll call you a liar. and apparently they were really high so they just stood there.

I think this is another band that attracts all the punk/creepy kids in my school to buy their merchandise. With that in mind, should I even try this band? Metalcore is generally not my cup of tea. Generally the punks and I have greatly disagreeing tastes in music..

BTBAM is pretty much straight edge. So I doubt they were high. And L.D. 50 is great, but that doesn't excuse the shit they've released in its wake.

zaruyache. They're not metalcore. At all.

EDIT: Oh, and your post is why I fucking hated high school.

That's funny cuz i'm the only kid I know who's even heard of BTBAM in my high school and there's 4000+ students that go there. I rep the shit out of them though.

teetering between 3 and 3.5 but i guess i'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

hot damn the first the songs are awesome. too bad the rest of the album slowly declines into a complete mess.

Yeah, same thought here, bodom. When I went to high school, the only kids that knew about BTBAM were the ones my friends and I told.

Guy could be thinking of another band...idk.

Also Obfuscation seems to be getting overshadowed by the other longer songs on the album, but I think it's my second favorite here. Whole album rules though, I like it more with every listen.

Pretty sure I've seen some BTBAM shirts around, along with Emmure, Killswitch, JFAC, Suicide Silence etc.. Generally I try to stay away from what those kids listen to, but this seems decent.

I don't like Tommy Rogers vocals. They ruin the band for me

I agree with you about everything else they have released, but that still doesnt mean I dont like that album, i still listen to it occasionally.

Dunno, I'm very sensitive to vocals when I'm getting into new bands. Tommy Rogers feels like he's just talking the lyrics in a harsh voice, without much motivation or interest in delivering a captivating vocal performance

Actually they have distinct metalcore roots...their early work contains alot of metalcore elements...they have however eliminated alot of that with their newer work

the chord progression at the end up fossil genera reminds me of one of the bkgd tracks from the movie Deep Blue Sea for some reason
