If it hadn't been for the clowns in Liturgy, Tool, or Periphery, Parallax II would've been the worst metal album I'd heard last decade

It’s BtBaM being BtBaM but with halfway decent songwriting choices for once. Like the jazzy bit in Obfuscation that flows organically instead of being thrown in randomly and in want of about a mile of sandpaper to fit all the pieces evenly
Or Fossil Genera which is, like, dumb in a fun way instead of dumb in a dumb way
