@ziroth: Thanks, I'll fix that right away.
@Dougie: Thanks man, I was kinda worried no one would get it. And as that so hard?! hahah.
@mynewbff: Ya me too, I can't get to much into for this is a thread but CNS and Laughing Stock we're too albums that had such a massive spiritual epic on me, lyrically and otherwise. Sleepingdog because it's so basic yet brings me near tears everytime. Anyone who's heard Untitled 5 from the Mono/ World's End Girlfriend knows exactly why its a classic. But basically there are stories behind each classic that have defined me.

Good review Brandon. It told me everything I needed to know & I love the "and then there’s the very few (with the cute lead singer) that stick" line.
There's about 4 or 5 times where you have the wrong word though, so give the review a read over & make the necessary edits. You should find them easily.

I haven't actually heard those albums. I will definitely have to check them out though thanks! Theres always something lyrically that has to catch. Or in the case of most post-rock, something musically has to just click. It has to be like, ridiculously emotional. In F# A# I read the book "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy while I listened to it for the first time. That and the fact that it is just powerful on it's own. Chills everywhere. If you like literature at all I reccomend you try the combination out it is ridiculously powerful. As for TDAGARIM, it's pretty much the lyrical significance.

Yah reading the Road and listening to that is amazing.
Yah get on all of those. I have the same connection for TDAGARIM.

K. If you don't mind then I'm probably just gonna work through your 5's. I just ordered like, 6 cd's from amazon so it'll be a while before I can get anything.

Thats fine broseph.
What records did you get?

mewithoutYou-Brother, Sister
Radiohead- Kid A
Radiohead- OK Computer
Circle Takes The Square- As The Roots Undo
Enter The Wu-Tang- 36 Chambers
Pg. 99- Document #8
Just some rap and "emo" stuff mostly. I've heard some of this I just wanted to have physical copies of it instead of digital files. I really need to start listening to more post rock and stuff too. If you have any other recs I'd appreciate them greatly, cause after this I'm not sure what to get. Haven't gotten many reccomendations from lists tbh.

Ok thanks. I appreciate it. #8 is one of the cds that I have yet to hear but from what I've been told it is really good so I'm expecting to enjoy it and setting the bar high :x

With a song title like Your Face Is A Rape Scene, you can't really go wrong haha.
|

hehehehe yup ^_^ . That actually reminds me of this one person I met once. The first thing he said was "Its not rape if they can't say no." I later learned that he got kicked out of the army for being mentally unstable. How strange.
