to me, his voice sounds so average. like it literally could just be some random angsty guy up there screaming. some people are drawn to that and some people are repelled by it. that's my dumb theory. personally I don't like the vocals but some do and I get that.

Non-trained and passionate vocals are a stable of emo. Like Bitchfork said, even fans of emo don't like his vocals and I'm one of those people.

Eno: back when I wrote it, it was a comment on FB. like Keith Latinen (E!E! guy who I kinda know a tiny bit know from online conversations great guy I feel cool knowing him) posted my review on the Count Your Lucky Stars (label he runs with Snowing on it) and then Snowing commented like -- sorry we didn't play guitar well we'll add more solos for you next time-- not that exactly but like kinda bitter idk I was kinda sad : (
