His basslines are actually all really cool. Like Rocket Queen and Nightrain. On this album, his coolest bassline is Fall To Pieces, in my opinion.

I know Sucker Train and Dirty Little Thing on bass. Mostly because of their fuzzy intros.

This album is nothing hugely special. But I like the first two songs that you rated really low.

Isn't "Fall To Pieces" a Faith No More cover?

Huh.. doubt it, but dont take my word for it.

Listened to this album some time ago, always listening to it on and off. It's a good album. But I like gNr so no surprise there.

Looking forward to their next album. Hopefully there is one haha.

I was too young when G'n'R were around, but I've heard most of their stuff and I'm not that impressed by it, however they are all very talented musicians. When I heard about this band, and the musos playing on it, I bought this album and it was still nothing special. I borrowed it out to my cousin about a month later and haven't seen it since...Hope he enjoyed it more than I did, because all the songs sound the same and it bored me to sleep.

For sure this album contains several tracks that are just mind-blowing. However, there're also few tracks that just kinda there to take up the space. overall, i think this is one decent album. Although I disagree with your point about Slash's guitar work. I think he's done a pretty good job on the solos in most of the tracks. cant say flawless, but good enough to live up to his name. Good review, tho.

Wait, they are your favorite band, yet you give their album just a 3.5?

Seemed kinda generic, when it really shouldn't have. Maybe I need to give it another listen. But I agree with the reviewer, some songs are very good, and other songs just want to make you pull your hair out, or more logically, hit the FF button.
