I've really grown to liking this record. It has a lot of badassery here (Crush, Born Again Idiot, Toast To The Extras, Inside Out, Catharsis, etc.). Bush is also freaking amazing.

Yeah, I definitely like John Bush more than Joey Primadonna as a singer. Just compare the live performances of both singers and you'll be impressed by Bush, unlike Primadonna which has ugly vibrato voice.

I like A Toast To The Extras. If anything, some of the more experimental tracks are some of the better ones. Some of the rockier numbers are bland.

This album is pretty good (Catharsis, Crush, A Toast To The Extras), but it's very choppy with bland numbers (Hog Tied, Alpha Male, Big Fat), and upping Frank's bass and having a true lead guitarist would've done big favors for this release.

604 is hilarious, but yeah this album has more filler (read: Hog Tied, Big Fat, Alpha Male) than decent songs like Cartharsis, Inside Out and Pieces

I'll never understand how tracks like Hog Tied, Big Fat, Alpha Male and Stealing from a Thief can be considered filler. Love every single one of them a lot actually. Album's damn solid and still kicks ass after all those years. Best Bush album for me by far.
