They’re honestly completely different records to me, Axe to Fall is more chaotic and frenzied but Dusk has gone more mathy with some post-hardcore and noise rock. Still plenty of tracks on Dusk that just shred though

The reason I don't understand people who love post rock is nearly the same reason I don't get people who'd put AWLWLB or even Dusk in Us (which sounds like a demo compilation tape in comparison to AtF) over Axe to Fall. In my mind, it's obvious Axe to Fall is god. Certainly one of my top 10 albums.

This makes it sound like you prefer the slower, less aggressive version of Converge & not a relentless assault. That's not really what these guys are really about, maybe try some other bands. They mix things up occasionally (which is welcome) but chaotic intensity is their modus operandi.
