Album Rating: 4.0 | Sound Off

One of the things that I've noticed is that they keep comparing MJ's late albums to his early ones,

especially this one. Shockingly, let's not forget that the man was 43 (!) when this album was

released, so how could anybody expect the same type of music and energy than when he was 24 when

Thriller was released?

Some might not notice, but Michael's music moved and was moved by how the music was evolving, and

you can clearly see it in all his albums. From Off The Wall being disco, to Thriller and Bad being

'80s', to Dangerous being R&B/very black, to HIStory being pop, Blood on the Dancefloor with the

remixes crazy, and then, finally, Invincible which fit perfectly in the early 2000s R&B/pop times.

This album hasn't dated as bad as many others from its time, making it better than you it was. Now,

Sony didn't wanna promote the album, so that's why the album has sold only 13 million copies since

2001. Shame on them, really, at least we still have this album to enjoy.
