I kind of want to review this but I know the inevitable staff review will come so I probably won't.

The production on this is sooo good. The guitar tones and drums compliment each other perfectly. Bone- crushing. Effigy is probably my fave. Good review too.

review is a little juvenile.

"That's the point! We bash it coz we don't think of it as a genre. I used to like Metalcore at one time. I was 16 back then. That kind of music was just a phase, a phase before I moved on to better metal. For me,they were gateway bands: I've long since passed that "lower level" (unstructured songs, terrible breakdowns) of metal and moved onward.Sorry if I offend you man, I've observed that anyone who isn't a scene kid has also moved on from that kind of music be it on the internet or real life"

First part of the review is pretty funny. It's not all that bad though as some are making it out to be.

Album is good.

Aside from the first paragraph (which is good and bad), the review flows quite well. It just so happens that the review site has more stupid immature people now and you're just going to get negged. Another reason why negs should be done away with for good.

And aside from Mitch's nitpicking of sentence structure lol, no one has even given a reason on why this apparently "sucks." No one say the first paragraph either because that's a terrible reason.

Alright I removed the first paragraph and added a new sentence to replace it.

It seems rushed, and awkward. Maybe I just take too long to write reviews.

I think the first paragraph has been preserved in the community thread. for great justice.

Fanboy review #1. Too much comparison between this and past albums. Who really cares if this is better or not than Jane Doe. Aren't great records supposed to stand alone rather than be compared?

Yeah I guess so, but I wanted to get a feeling of what the album sounded like by comparing it too past efforts.

I will say this: I think it's almost as good as Jane Doe.

The first four songs are pretty good, but then they slow down the tempos and it doesnt really work. The bes thing about this album is the guitar work, which bounces between shred to death and then some metal core
